Seven Hills NDIS Bathroom and Ramp Upgrade
The Project
This PNP Group case study in Seven Hills, in Sydney's western suburbs, combined two of the most important home modification jobs into one scope: a full bathroom redesign and an external ramp. The participant had severe mobility challenges after a health incident, so the goal was not just compliance, but a home that worked for daily life again.
The bathroom was rebuilt to support a shower commode chair, with flush drains, better circulation space, and windows positioned to bring in natural light without creating hazards. Outside, the ramp was designed to improve access for disability vehicles and even emergency services, which is the kind of practical detail that matters when mobility becomes unpredictable.
This was an NDIS home modification project delivered by PNP Group.
The Company
PNP Group is a Sydney-based builder that specialises in complex home modifications for NDIS participants and aged care clients. Their work tends to blend access, compliance, and finish quality, which is important when a modification has to look and feel like part of the home rather than an add-on.
Why This Matters
This project is a good example of how a ramp and bathroom modification can work together. If one area of the home is fixed while the other is still inaccessible, the person still ends up blocked. By treating the entry and the bathroom as part of the same mobility problem, the home became easier to use from the front gate to the shower.
For homeowners in Sydney, this is exactly the kind of outcome worth discussing early with an occupational therapist and builder.
